Steve Johnston took Budgie over to Swifts where he was key in scoring the
goals that helped avoid relegation from the Ryman Premier. He has since
moved on to Gravesend & Northfleet for a small fee. Lets hope he
clears his subs owed with his wages, or we'll be knocking on their bosses
door |

| DEWHIRST Mark |
"Dewy - Forest
Gump" With Ben Fuller and Carl Wilkinson one of the fastest players to wear a House

after 89 minutes and not break a sweat. Left to fulfil a childhood dream and become a
Marine. |

collect his pick up truck from Maldon High Street after it was used to pull a cashpoint
out of a wall. |
| FULLER Benjiman |
"Golden
Boy", left the Club to play for Chelmsford City, a very likeable lad who helps the
players with training and his general support. How we would like to stick a jersey on him
on a Sunday morning. |
| GANDER Ian |
"Goose"
other nicknames but not appropriate for this publication. This players physique was
awesome, and used every part of it, if not putting the ball in the net it would be the
keeper. Played in early Brookhouse teams only to depart for Westbeech to return later to
terrorise more goalkeepers. Was on Tottenhams Youth books.
"Challenoiresque" throw in, once scoring directly in the Radars net with the
goal standing. |

John has held the
post of Treasurer, Chairman, temporary Manager and is currently President. Love s local
football and West Ham, keen Cricketer and also runs a club that has been going since the
80s Springfield Rouge. After an abandoned game in the Invitation league, John took

against M and G, a centre back for Kelvedon Hatch, and scored in this game. |

Lampkin" The latter due to his now famous back heal - Kick Start. Darren was a
no holds barred player and played mainly in Defence. Still seen at games after hanging up
his boots in 98/99. West Ham Fan |
| GREENHALGH Steven |
"Bulge"
Founder member and Chairman for two seasons. Very tall and gangly, excellent feet and a
good passer of the ball. Unfortunately Brookhouse lost his services as a player who would
no doubt still be gracing our midfield but for a serious injury at work, when falling from
a third storey window. Has travelled to Australia, Europe and Far East. Arsenal fan.
Played at youth level at Galleywood Eagles and left to play for Hartspring. |
| HARRIS Paul |

Midfielder who has played sporadically for the Club, now at Writtle. |
| KING Darren |
"Kinger/
Dazzler" If fit a perfect Midfielder, yet played mostly at the back, confident on the
ball at times very cocky on the ball, full of funny quirks on a pitch. Probably left too
soon and unable to show the club the potential he has, plays regularly on Saturdays for
Margaretting Rovers. Great in the changing room and captain for two seasons. Did play for
C& E and St John Payne for a while. Man Utd fan. |
| LUCKING James |
Age 26, James joined
Brookhouse after playing for Galleywood and Baddow Spartak, began as a full back, but in
1997 Mick Buckley recommended that he should give it a go as a striker. This saw him score
important goals before he decided to give up for a season. Last Year he came back and

| PAYNE
Brian (Bumble) |
Bumble
has thwarted Brookhouse over the past six years with some superb goals.
With the demise of Cherry Tree Brian signed in Sept 2001. Eventually

summer of 1999. "Barrell" |
| ROYCE
Neil |
"Roycer"
One of the longest serving players, Started in Midfield and still is one of the best
passers in the Club. Took over between the posts 3 seasons ago whilst Terry was
unavailable, and has never been allowed out on pitch since. Each season acquits himself
admirably and I am sure will do so in the Premier Division. Still plays on pitch for Gt
Baddow where he has played for a number of years. |
| SAVAGE
Louis |
The biggest Character
ever to play for Brookhouse. Not a natural player but made up for it with his enthusiasm,
passion and hard tackling. Louis tended to leave a trail of destruction with his mad cap
antics off the pitch. You would never call him a professional by nature, but no one would
swap those memories he left for anything. Left the club after an altercation with the
League. Supports Arsenal |
| SEDGWICK
David |
Busy, hardworking
player down either wing, suffering from injury on and off for two seasons. Much liked in

but has been back three years and is now part of the management team. |
| WALLACE Kevin |
Age 29, Plays now in
defence after stints in Midfield, has been at Brookhouse since 91. Still being reminded of
his missed penalty in a recent Cup Final. Previous clubs, Baddow Spartak, Margaretting
Rovers, Broomfield, Writtle, Redstones, C & E, currently playing Saturday football at
Sandon Royals. In his earlier days discipline was a concern, but his experiences in the
Intermediate League have helped him become more balanced, with out loosing his strength. |
| WESLEY Sean |
The first player to
join after pressure from Jon Way. Versatile in defence or midfield, with his running,
passing and tackling. A big Wolves fan though has a liking for Arsenal. Is Vice Captain.
